Sliding Mode Control of a Bidirectional Buck/Boost DC-DC Converter with Constant Switching Frequency
In this paper, sliding mode control (SMC) for a bidirectional buck/boost DC-DC converter (BDC) with constant frequency in continuous conduction mode (CCM) is discussed. Since the converter is a high-order converter, the reduced-order sliding manifold is exploited. Because of right-half-plan zero (RHPZ) in the converter’s duty ratio to output voltage transfer function, sliding mode current...
متن کاملHysteresis Switching Control of the Ćuk Converter
Design details and analysis of the properties of a hysteresis switching controller for the Ćuk converter are provided in this paper. The design is based on a switching control law which minimizes a common Lyapunov function derivative for the converter’s continuous modes of operation. These continuous modes of operation are both marginally stable which causes some particularities in the design p...
متن کاملLinear-Assisted DC-DC Switching Converter with Constant Switching Frequency
This article shows the proposal of a linear–assisted converter or linear–&–switching hybrid converter with a constant switching frequency. The control loop of the system is based on the current–mode technique. The main disadvantage of a converter with current–mode control is the inherent instability of the loop when switch duty ratios are greater than 0.5. In order to make stable the proposed l...
متن کاملUltra-fast photonic packet switching with optical control.
We report the first demonstration of all-optical multi-bit address recognition at 250 Gb/s using a self-routing scheme. With bit period being only 4 ps, two address bits from each packet header were used for routing. Photonic packets can be removed(dropped) by a routing switch from network traffic at their destination. The packet-switching bit-error rate was measured to be less than 10(-9) .
متن کاملEnhancement of Robust Tracking Performance via Switching Supervisory Adaptive Control
When the process is highly uncertain, even linear minimum phase systems must sacrifice desirable feedback control benefits to avoid an excessive ‘cost of feedback’, while preserving the robust stability. In this paper, the problem of supervisory based switching Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT) control is proposed for the control of highly uncertain plants. According to this strategy, the unce...
